The Frontline Tickets

1I don't really know when was the last time I came.

2The last time, I think, was to do some filming or some TVB promotions.

3But, I think in my mind, the last time I came here was before 2008.

42007 or 2008.

5I really like it here, especially Vancouver.

6When I got here, it feels like I went back to Hong Kong.

7Every where you go, everywhere is very friendly.

8And a lot of the food you can eat in Hong Kong, you can eat it here.

9I actually really like to eat.

10Mostly we're talking about eating right? (laughs)

11I really like the food in Vancouver.

12The seafood here is really fresh.

13I couldn't believe that after a few years I could have a mini concert.

14I really wish that…within these two years, I was really lucky.

15That I can have my own…have another concert.

16I really wish, even though this is a mini concert, I really wish that later on there would be a chance…to do a full show here for everyone.

17I think that would be more more perfect.

18I really like to thank my fans.

19Because a part of my fans went to the concert in Hong Kong, and I've seen some signs that said from Vancouver and Toronto.

20I really hope, because they had the heart to fly over to Hong Kong to support me. I really hope that I could have a full concert here. So that more audience can watch my performance.

21The people who I'm working with on my music, we're actually pretty close, very very good friends.

22We work together, fight in battle together, for a few years. And the whole time, we really wish that … the music we like, its actually really similar.

23Like any other young person, we really like to make different styles of music.

24We want the music industry to have different types of music to listen to.

25Obviously, it has to be something that matches us.

26So that's why, starting from the fourth album, which is this year's, there's new styles, what we call, trying it out.

27Including some acoustic stuff.

28Before, the first two discs it had more love songs, but obviously there would be love songs.

29But, there would be more fast songs.

30Fast songs would have different styles, different themes.

31Because when we were making the fourth album, we already knew there would be a concert.

32So, for each song, we thought of a theme for it.

33So when we perform it, visually, we know how to perform it.

34There would be a theme.

35It's a very different attempt, for me.

36I've actually started, for a mandarin album, I actually don't have one yet, but I really want my own mandarin song, regular mandarin song.

37Right now, its missing two songs, we already recorded eight.

38There's two left. Maybe when I'm back in Hong Kong or when I'm in Beijing or Shanghai filming my dramas, I'll record the remaining ones.

39I wish next year, next year I'll have my own mandarin songs.

40I really like to thank Miss Lok, cause she really gave me a lot of chances.

41And thanks to Ng Yu. In the music aspect, they really gave me a big space to explore.

42And a group, together, a group of music people, so many years, we've got this close connection, Tang Chi Wai, Ben, and others.

43A lot of the fast songs are from them.

44Within these two years, in concerts, there were more fast songs. And it allows more action for the audience to see.

45And also Sandy Chang, she wrote some very beautiful lyrics.

46Actually, I, yesterday, a day before that in Toronto, I bumped into Johnny Yim. He's actually Canadian.

47He wrote a lot of songs for me.

48A lot, a lot of music talents who worked together, I really thank them for it.

49The most important is to thank the fans who have been supporting me.

50So many years, starting from dramas to giving me a lot of support and now when I've started music, they still continue … continue to support me.

51Continue to give me more opinons. I really like to thank them.

52As I said before, I really want to have a full show here. This really depends on the company's decisions.

53I really hope.

54Looking forward for more opportunities.

55I really wish in different platforms, I can do what the audience wants to see and listen to.

56And something that I can do.

57Right now I'm doing something I really enjoy.

58Actually, there's isn't something in particular I like the most.

59It's just that … there's nothing that weighs more.

60If there is something that weighs more, it depends on time.

61Within the year, these few months, music might be weighed more. During this time, music would be the most important.

62I would have to balance the different times and different concentrations.

63Every year, getting nominated, having the chance to get nominated with seniors in the industry to get this award. I feel like I've worked hard.

64In every artist, every year's award ceremonies, each award, it is important. The most important is within that year, in your work, what kind of results did you get on your report card. You would know yourself.

65For example, this year I feel like the characters I've played, it gave an impression on the audience. That, I think gave a very satisfied report card. That is the most important.

66The biggest chance to collaborate with others is with the artists in the company.

67The year before last year, I worked with Vincy. Last year I worked with Charlene. This year, I worked with Charlene.

68This year, Joey was a special guest in my concert.

69I really want to work with Joey, a duet song with her.

70But, this really depends on the opportunities.

71See what the company can arrange.

72When we play each character role, there's actually a bit of us in it.

73Because, I think a totally new character, personality, developing it from zero to a fake character, I think it will be missing a bit of reality to it.

74And when each producer will look for an actor to play the role, they believe that your qualities or your acting skills fit the character.

75So, you don't really have to totally wipe out who you are.

76So a little here and there, you would bring out something from you into the character.

77In a few characters that I've played, it has a bit of me in it.

78First of all, thank you, because this is a good start, because of the mini concert.

79And hoping, hoping that there would be a lot more time to do more collaborations.
